In this quick tutorial, we will show you how to add a website shortcut to your desktop.

First, navigate to your web browser. In this case we are using Firefox.

firefox iconSecond, click and drag the small globe over to your desktop by clicking and holding on the right mouse button and sliding the mouse to a blank spot on your desktop.

Last, verify the result! Double click on the shortcut to ensure it is working properly. If it works then you are done. If it does not work try it again from the beginning.
